you know, if a client is annoying or acts like they know what they are talking about or is mean to you every time they come for a cleaning... how about if they have a bad attitude about all dentists?.. you ever give 'em a little something to think about?..

No I have never done that.  Most people that I know that are dentists really do care about people's teeth.  That is almost the only way somebody could get through dental school.  Now I will admit that sometimes I care less about how good a job I do for people like you mentioned, but I would not admitt that in person
