I saw dark water yesterday, it's the atmosphere of that movie that scares you

  1. asian horror is quite addictive once you get into it. Takashi Miike is, quite simply, God.

    Try getting Imprint - a masters of horror episode which has never been shown in the states due to 'disturbing' content. Also 'Box' which is his part of the 3 extremes trilogy.

    The Vengeance series is excellent - although the first one 'Sympathy for Mr Vengeance' is a little slow.

    Try Noroi - the Curse and R-Point - heck, just go to crunchyroll.com and go nuts.

  4. Yes, I like Asian horror a lot.  A lot better than when Americans remake it.  It's really scary, original, great direction.  "Dark Water?"  Nothing happened in that movie, but the Japanese version nearly made me c**p my pants.  Yeah, I like Asian horror/suspense.

  10. I'ts hard not to be when you're a fan of horror! I mean most American movies have just taken off from their Asian counter parts! While it can be enjoyable experence I prefer the Asian version anytime!

  11. I love Asian horror, definitely has creepy factor in it. It is so eerie and haunting it just gets through you.

    The American remake isn't that bad but they couldn't capture the eeriness of the original.
