I support every american swimmer.  but for the events michael phelps has entered, i would like to see him take the gold and set a new world record for each of them.  it would be nice to see someone win eight gold medals.  hes obviously one of the greatest, if not the greatest, athletes, and i respect him for all the hard work he has put into swimming.  he has a lot of discipline for someone so young, as he realizes that he must focus all of his attention on swimming and taking care of himself in order to be successful.

I love Michael Phelps! He's the best. I always enjoy watching him on TV. I also like Natalie Coughlin and Amanda Beard. I swim myself, so they are sorta like the people I look up to. Most of my friends have never even heard of Michael Phelps but I think he's awesome!
