  1. NO.

  2. yes

  3. ny favorite show, i watch it all day.  they tell it like it is...

  4. Yes, it can be quite amusing at times !

  5. no just bbc or itv

  6. I have always been against fox hunting and so I do not follow any news about that kind of sport.

  7. Yes.

  8. No.  Fox News reinforces the H.L. Mencken adage: "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

By the way, I find it interesting everyone so far is either very much a fan of Fox News or very much not.  No one sort of likes it.

  9. Not even a little bit! They come up with so much...stuff  that is not the least bit true. If I was bored out my mind and the tv was broken and only tuned into that chanel, would probably be the only reason I would watch it, and then it would be more of a drama, or comedy.

  10. Never watched it before so no, or not yet anyway

  11. Yes Sam, I am.

  12. The proprietor of Fox is the same megalomaniac who owns Sky and the Sun.  He is a major contributor to the decline in Western civilisation and would be the first one against the wall if I should ever become world dictator.

  13. I do watch it sometimes but mainly to see the American weather forecast as I have relatives there.  I drives me mad because of all the ads though.

  14. Yeah, for comedy value. I cringe at the fact that some people really do believe it is 'fair and balanced'.

  15. I am a fan of it. And for all you who say it is biased, isnt every news station biased??? They either lean to the left or the right

  16. A bit biased and right wing for me.

  17. I hate it!  But I can't help but watch it. The Elitist Mantra is always the overriding concept.  If it is Biased they call it fair if its B. S. they call it true.  Don't disagree or you'll be berated as a "pin head."

  18. As pure entertainment and learning about how the slick propaganda machine works in US mass media. That network is much more transparent about its propaganda than the other network, but even PBS follows most of the rules involving disinformation.

Topics within an acceptable range are vigorously debated, but issues that fall outside this range are dismissed, ridiculed, or totally ignored. Here is a list of topics FOX News will only marginalize or ignore. None of the other networks are willing to discuss these issues with seriousness. This list provided by http://www.votenader.org/issues/:

    - Adopt single payer national health insurance

    - Cut the huge, bloated, wasteful military budget

    - No to nuclear power, solar energy first

    - Aggressive crackdown on corporate crime and corporate welfare

    - Open up the Presidential debates

    - Adopt a carbon pollution tax

    - Reverse U.S. policy in the Middle East

    - Impeach Bush/Cheney

    - Repeal the Taft-Hartley anti-union law

    - Adopt a Wall Street securities speculation tax

    - Put an end to ballot access obstructionism

    - Work to end corporate personhood

    - Defend, Restore and Strengthen the Civil Justice System

    - Adopt the National Initiative

It's amazing to me how the networks can swiftboat candidates, yet refuse to discuss the important issues. It really doesn't matter much which major party candidate we elect when the Republicans and Democrats agree that all of the issues listed above are "off the table."

The US media has us convinced that a third party can never win and that they are just spoilers. If they only had half a chance, we might have a popular politician.
