  1. There is this one restaurant in Osaka (Matsuri daiko in Umeda if you ever get to Osaka) that I sometimes get a craving for their katsudon (かつ丼)... no one anywhere makes it like they do... or even nearly as good.

I like the crispy pork chop and always ask them to make it a specific way.

Since I live in Okinawa (1000km away) I have to make excuses to go to Osaka for business just so I can eat there once or twice before coming back to Okinawa....

My lady is catching on to this though... She says I am having an affair with a culinary "dish"...

  2. In a way yes and in a way no (I sound like a Libra now !)

I have no interest in fast food, fancy coffee (starbucks and the like)

food connoisseur ? perhaps..........have tasted lots of different food from over the world.

More of a food curiouser :-)..I do not have many qualms about tasting about anything really. It is always an experience ! something like : got to give it a try out of curiosity. I guess I have tasted an awful lot of array of food. Not much would disgust me because I always think well if some people can eat that , so I can. But that came from travels abroad. I am not disgusted at all nor repelled by other cultures' food. Different cultures have different values.

I remember when I was 17 a boyfriend of mine took me to a ?? chinese ?? Korean ?? restaurant and then later told me that I ate dog food. Was he serious or joking ? dunno know. I did not puke though.

Actually am very simple and not demanding at all.

I like vegs yes.......a nice tuna sandwich with tomatoes and mayonnaise........

Sea-food..I crack for it. Especially smoked salmon.

    mushrooms are quite nice too.

I do not like raw vegs though like in some Chinese restaurants. And anyway most popular Chinese restaurants around here do not deliver great food: too oily and certainly not on a par with those abroad.

My favourites are Indian restaurants. I do not care for meat much but the dishes there can be outstanding.

Have nothing against raw meat (bit dangerous those days). My favourite is steak tartare : minced meat with egg, olive oil and some salt and pepper.

I do not like carbs much.........rice, pasta, bread. Actually I almost never eat them.

I suppose am a bit weird..........I do not like fruits at all ( bananas are OK)

am not sure what you mean by do and don'ts.. I suppose it would be pasta and overly oiled cooked food.

Basically am adventurous and will taste almost anything .....but I am not bothered in the least when I open the fridge and find nothing ready and appetising.......will make my own in 2 minutes.

    OK..did not answer you like

    1. 2. 3.

I have my own tastes.......but kind of difficult to describe. I tend to adapt - or not at all- to various ethnicities' likings. Ex : I find bacon a total waste of money. Just fat grilled in fat really.

In a way I can be very critical yes...........I see/taste/ realise very quickly when people claim to "know". A rabbit , pheasant. game food just do not taste the same when people do not know how to cook it properly. The worst turkey dinners are found in north america............unpalatable, bland, dry. They just do not have any clue. So please no turkey on this continent. Same with salmon and many other foods.

The best restaurants I have experienced :

Ireland with sea food. Still remember it. Famlly owned.

Asian countries serving their "locals"............would die for a chilli crab anytime in Singapore.............not found anywherelse

  3. Well i have alot of italian in my family like flower child

so i like stuff like pizza-any italian foods realy

    I also like steak-medium rare

but i only eat when im hungry not just to eat because i made that a habit

  4. I grew up in a very Italian family.  I love most foods.  Luckily I am average weight, but really, I should be larger.  I believe people should watch their weight, but don't go overboard.  Life is for living and good food is a blessing.
