Are you a foodservice executive?

I would like to network with senior foodservice executives if that is at all possible. I am at the high end international side of the business and I would very much like to see who I can meet.

  1. how high up the "executive" ladder are we talking here?  Been in the business 19 years and started as the PM cook at a hospital and am currently a retail sales clerk who had the title of Food Service Director and Head Cook in between. I was Food Service Director at both a nursing home and a high end Bakery/bistro/coffee shop.

My duties ranged from supervising a crew of 5 and cooking for about 300 at the same time(at the hospital) to ordering supplies for 3 eating facilities and coordinating all cooked and delivered foods to these same 3 places to high end catering of weddings, funerals and anything in between(AT the Bakery/bistro).  I guess I have been (and still am a bit when my boss needs me) in the trenches more than behind a desk.    I can tell you what kind of food a Renal diabetic can have or I can make a d**n fine pate' .   I have a weird range of food service experience!

Too much of food service? Not enough executive?  Interesting question anyway.
