Are you a kenmore fan or wirlpool?

Whirlpool.  I don't like Sears.  If you buy one of their appliances, they hound you for years to get one of their maintenance agreements.

The maintenance agreements are just money makers for them because once you pay, it is like pulling teeth to get them to come out and service your machine.  Keep Kenmore, it is really just another brand with the Kenmore name over it.

Just bought a New whirlpool dryer. They did say that other co. also made the same appliance,just different name put on the appliance. I am having alot of trouble with Whirlpool service. Appliance is only 1 month old.

I think if you begin to check, you will find that Whirlpool manufactures some of the Kenmore appliances. Kenmore refrigerators, as an example are made by Whirlpool & Frigidare. The same is true for Craftsman power tools-- Ryobi, as an example makes drills, etc for Sears under the Craftsman name. Personally, I am not a big Sears fan.
