Soo , I know there are many top ones on yahoo answers

who are king of math ...

Soo my problem is that I hate maths ...give me any subject

other than maths ..I`ll always have an answer for it ...

Any ways ...heres my sum ...

I do know some of this ..but work out is h**l !

I hate simplify ....I always get confuse ..

I m in grade - 8 ...& I always have to refresh my mind in

maths ..I keep on forgeting only in maths ....

1. 5+2x 4 - (7- 1 ) =

2. 20 divided by 2 + 3 x 5 =

3 . (2 raise three - 3) x (130 - 5 raise to 3) =

4 . 8 -2x 3 + 18 divided by 6

Can you show me the method of sum no. 3 ....???

I mean you do brackets first then what ???

I want step by step friends ...

Rule: Subtract .25

40 , 20 , 10, 5 , 2.5 , 1.25

Rule : Divide by 2

1. 5 + 2 x 4 - (7- 1 ) = 7

2. 20 divided by 2 + 3 x 5 = 25

3 . (2 raise three - 3) x (130 - 5 raise to 3) = 25

4 . 8 - 2 x 3 + 18 divided by 6 = 5

1) rule just go on sutracting .25 from the previous digit so u get

   7.5 , 7.25 , 7.00 , 6.75 , 6.50

2) rule  it is geometric progression so u get

    40 ,  20  ,  10  ,  5 ,  5/2   ,  5/4

1)  5 + 2 * 4 - (7-1)  =  5 + 8 - 6  =  7

2)  20 / ( 2 + 15)  =  20 / 17

3)  (2^3 - 3)  *  ( 130 - 5^3)  =  ( 8  -3 )  *   ( 130 - 125 )

                                    

                                        = 5 * 5  =  25

4)  in this sum it is only 18/6 or the terms before that also has a denominator as 6

  i didn't get it so m solvin by takin 6 as the denominator of 18 only

  =  8 - 6 + 3  =  5

= 20/6

= 10/3 ans.

What is happening between 7.5 and 7.25?  Or 7.25 and 7.00?  Aren't they losing 0.25?  So what is 7 - 0.25? And then that minus 0.25?

This is called looking for the pattern.  What is the next pattern?

5 + 2 x 4 - (7 - 1)

= 5 + 8 - 6

= 7

20/2 + 3 x 5

= 10 + 15

= 25

(2^3 - 3) x (130 - 5^3)

= (8 - 3) x ( 130 - 125)

= 5 x 5

= 25

8 - 2 x 3 + 18/6

= 8 - 6 + 3

= 5
