Are you a leader or follower?

And please give examples why this title suites you best.

I think i am a leader because i take charge, am most out spoken of my friends and like to know whats happening instead of following others.

Unfortunately A follower most of the time! I really do not like it but it seems that I do not have the characteristics of a leader!

I am what ever the situation calls for. I can do both, and rather well. The best part of following is giving support to help someone else succeed, the best part of leading is making something happen.

I start being happy to be a follower but also end up taking the control of the situation.........eg I've be involved with a project at work and then end up project managing the whole thing....I guess the fact that i'm a manager would probably not help things lol

In order to be a good leader you have to be a good follower.  I completely agree with that quote.  Everyone was once a follower or still is(parents, friends, etc)  Then gradually you become a good leader.  Though being a good leader doesnt mean bossy, take charge sort of person.  A good leader is someone who encourages someone to do there best, is compassionate and understanding, has peace within themselves.  I am as well out spoken but that means nothing.  A quiet person could be a leader too, not just an out spoken person.  Though I like to see how you take pride with you being a leader you still have much to learn.  You may be a leader of your friends but you are still a follower of the bigger picture.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with that either.  Being a follower does not mean oh your so stupid you cant do anything and always have to follow someone.  Absolutely not.  Being a follower is nothing to be ashamed of.  So this question I believe is nonsense.  You are putting others down for no reason.  I understand you didnt know that.  You putting up your own personality to describe a leader is false information.  You are hurting people who are quiet and reserved by telling them that they can never measure up to become a leader.  I mean no harm but I believe you are less of a leader than you think you are.  Again, I mean no harm.  I am a truth teller and that who I shall remain.  Love and Light.

In team based situations. Whether im a leader or a follower, I do what i have to get done, thats all that matters. A leader is just as important as a follower. I do usually take charge of most situations, but it cant get done without followers. Gotta have a little of both.

I totally agree with a few of the other answers above me. Im neither a leader or a follower. I don't need someone telling me what to do and i dont need anyone doing what i tell them to either. I can live my life perfectly my being independent. I can do things by myself, and I live life minding my own business. I've found out that I'm happier when I mind my own business as opposed to always being in charge or always doing things for someone else. A lot less stress.
