I don't think of myself as a material person, no.  However, I do cherish and hold dear items that I have received as gifts or things that I have bought for myself because of the expression of emotions behind those items. Bottom line, I would put love of family and friends before love of my own material possessions.

    I don't mean if being material is better, but even if it is.. I can't change who I am
