  1. you bet u can be a nurse follow your dreams it will probaly be harder 4 u than some but that is ok u go grt ur rn we need u also their r coulser 4 s ed people good luck AND DO NOT LET ANY ONE STAND IN YOUR WAY      GOOD LUCK FUTURE RN THAT IS U

  2. Talk with your school guidance counselor about your career goals. If that person doesn't give you good advice, you can also talk to a counselor at your local community college. They will tell you what is expected in course work for you to become a nurse.

    Good luck!

  3. I don't think being in special ed or regular ed will make a difference.  There are people who are very, very smart who could never become a nurse just because of the certain type of person it takes to do that sort of job.  You may have a more difficult time studying or completing certain tasks based upon your learning disability, but I think if you are up front with your student advisor, he/she might have suggestions to overcome those obstacles.  One thing for sure, though, if you don't try you never know what you are capable of doing.

  4. It totally depends on the nature of your disability.  Being that you are in special ed. anymore, it might have been so minor that had they tested you on another day that you may have avoided special ed. in the first place.  Seen it done!  How are your grades now?  What do your science teachers say about your scholastic ability in college?  Science classes are typically the most difficult in college so weight them the most!
