I would like to go raw. This way of eating includes foods that have not been cooked. Cooking destroys a lot of the nutrients in food, and as such, our bodies are not able to receive and assimilate those nutrients.
Because of that, I want to completely change my way of thinking about food. Getting off meat is no problem for me. Sweets, tho are a HUGE problem, as is bread.
Have you converted to a raw diet? What were some of the problems converting? What was YOUR problem "cooked" food that may have been difficult to forgo?
Tell me your story. I would especially like to hear from women in their 50s who have gone or attempted to go raw.
