Are you a springboard diver???

Question

did you ever hit the board or see anyone hit it? tell me your best story.

i was just wondering cuz i hit my head and i laughed. lol

I've watched a lot of high school, college and club diving, so yes I've seen people hit the board.  It's always pretty scary [especially for the moms!], but I've never seen anyone seriously hurt, fortunately.

I know at least two divers who got concussions from smacking the water, one in practice, the other in a competition.

I watch it on the Olympics whenever it comes on, but I have never been on one myself. I guess you can really knock yourself silly, huh. Hope you're OK though. I saw Greg Louganis smack his noggin and that looked like it hurt pretty good.
