  1. I was a server for a few years, it's definately an experience. I had a lot of fun, but it also depends on where you're working. If you work nd a laid back place, then it's pretty cool. As far as tips, really depends on how good you are, what type of place you'll be serving at and how fast you can turn your tables (meaning getting guest in and out). But average where I worked, it was about 60-100 on weeknights and up to 200 on weekends after tipping out everyone you had to tip out.

  2. you should target placed were old rich people go they love flaunting theyre money by giving niiiice tips!

n remember to keep urself busy, the more u work the better you look and the less tiered u get, trust me i know

  3. I've been a waitress for 20+ years, and I like my job. I work in a locally owned family restaurant. Yes, you do get better tips at fancier restaurants. But you can get good tips anywhere, as long as you are a good waitress. To me, if you're social, then you should work at a "regular" restaurant. That way, you can talk to people, and get to know them. A fancy restaurant, they want service and small talk. Very small talk.

I work days, and make anywhere from $60-90 a day. But I'm also in a small town, and that is about normal.

It all depends on the atmosphere of the restaurant, and where you live.

But overall,  pay attention to your tables and smile. People hate being ignored, and they do not want a crabby waitress!!! Good luck!!!

  4. OK,the bigger the ticket, the bigger tip. However you  must give your customer GOOD SERVICE. You don't need to go to a Fancy Restaurant to make good money.

I first job was in a 50 seat local pizza place and always made $50.plus per shift.

You also need to learn your job  and become good at it. There is alot to waiting other than serving the food.

    Good Luck
