  1. you can sync as many ipods as you want, in one computer but you cannot sync an ipod with other computers. this means that an ipod can only belong to one computer.

  3. Sure thers no limit of how many iPods can sync with one computer

    but one iPod only works with one computer

  4. Yes you can if the other iPod isn't synced with another iTunes library.

  5. I think that you risk either losing your music or the music on the ipod.  I am not sure which, but I am sure that you will not be able to merge the two libraries.  One will overwrite the other.

    That way, you prevent people from sharing MP3s with their ipods.  They can only sync with their own computer.
