  1. Yes.

    It takes between 14 and 20 hours, depending on which trains you use, and you need to make reservations.

    The price you pay will be decided by how early you make your reservations, and also which trains you want to use. (High speed trains have a different price structure from 'normal' trains.)

    Very easy to use, in English.

    For prices you need to use either the French or the Italian site, I never have much luck with finding info with those:

    http://www.voyages-sncf.com/leisure/fr/l... (in French, the English version is a site selling tickets at a profit!)

    http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html (Italian site in English, might be your best bet for tickets?)
