what you will be able to do from the amp is to adjust the gain and the input level. If you adjust these two correctly, then you will be adjusting the amount of power that your speakers are getting

you can buy a wattage controler that wires on the output of your amp and you adjust the level it lets thru.

i have only ever seen 1 and it cost £300.

well thats why we use things called ohms they determine the amount of power the amp makes. wire it in 4 ohm if your worried about your subs. also you can adjust the amps out put buy using the sub controller in your hu.also keep in mind those power ratings are at 14.4 volts. most cars only run at 12.5-13 volts so the power will be a little less
