  1. No, because that year passed a long time ago, lol.

  2. Were you anxious about Y2K.

  3. you mean 2012.

If you are a Christian, pay no heed to this.  Ancient South American tribes never had a connection with Christianity.  Also, the bible states no human will ever be able to predict when the apocalypse comes.  Not even Jesus Christ, only God himself.  I did not get this from someone else but I have read it in myself, it couldnt be more clear.  (Its in revelations if you wanna look for it).

...If youre non-religious, then you most likely dont believe in fate.  Therefore, a future event such as this could not be predicted, esp. thousands of years before its time.

If youre of some other religion, then I dont know much about your beliefs.

Personally, I believe in the rapture.  However, it is definitely NOT in 2012 seeing as this has already been humanly predicted (and any human prediction is wrong).

Anyways, those are my beliefs, you believe what you want, but know this;  do NOT put a deadline for this.  Do not try to predict when it will come.  Dont worry.  If you believe in the rapture IT WILL COME, but who knows when.  If you dont believe in the rapture and arent Christian, sweet dreams!  You dont believe in predetermined fate and therefore have nothing to worry about.

The only way that mayan prophecy would be fulfilled would be in some freak scenario where the aliens that scientists who supposedly know visited the Mayans even though it happened thousands of years before their time actually told the Mayans that they would return to Earth in 2012 and destroy us all.  Of course, this is not the case.

    Dont worry and sweet dreams!

  4. Ok, so we know you made a typo, and meant 2012, lol. The Mayan Calender has been interpreted by some as meaning that the world will end finally and totally. This may not be a proper interpretation. Their idea of time and space was completely different that ours. It is more than a good possibility that the calender indicates an end to a large cycle of time, within their concept of time. And with an ending of one cycle comes the beginning of another. Personally I think there will be some huge changes in the near future and they will be global. But I do not think the planet will experience mass extinction or explode. Do I feel anxious? You bet. But anxiety can keep you alive.

  5. It would help us that don't know about 1012 a bit if you gave us some background information. I'll look it up on the web to see if I get anything informative:

I searched it on Yahoo! And came up with this. I hope this helps those who don't understand it.

As for my oppinion, I am not afraid at all. I believe in Jesus Christ, and I have nothing fear except His Father's wrath. But as for the feeling of the end of the world, yes I am cautious, mind you, not afraid.
