Are you allowed on a ferry?

Question

Are you allowed on a ferry with a 50cc moped, Need to know because going to isle of wight soon and was wondering if i could, Some people told me that you have to be driving it for 2 years before you can enter a ferry? Please let me know.

you will see that you can reserve a place for a motorcycle or scooter - I have never heard of any restrictions as to how long you have been driving - you only have to drive onto the ferry and then off again so I can't see why your driving experience comes in to it at all  - I have seen learner drivers on the ferry.
