  1. You can bring any quanity of liquids and gels in your checked luggage.  I'd recommend putting them in a bag of some sort as the change of air pressure can cause bottles to leak.

The ziploc bag and "less than 3 ounce" rules only apply to carry-on luggage.

The 3 ounce rule does not apply to items needed for a baby (ie formula).

  2. not in handluggage

but in your suitcase youre allowed

but be careful it doesnt leak or get squashed and go all over your clothes

it might be a good idea to buy shampoo when you land

if you want to take it in your hand luggage, you cant take more than 3oz (per bottle) and the maximum total is about 32oz and it must be in a re-sealable transparant bag

  3. You can pack full size shampoos and so on in your checked luggage.  In your carry on you can bring the small travel sized ones (100 ml or 3 oz. size) as long as they all fit in one quart sized ziploc bag.

Check with the airline about what you can bring for your baby.  For sure you can check her car seat and I don't think it is considered part of your checked baggage.

  4. you can only bring under 4 ounces of liquid. You can check on website

of Homeland security or Airliners for detailed information.

  5. Actually each liquid container cannot be more than 3 ounces. They must fit in a 32 ounces zip lock bag & you are only allowed one 32oz bag per person.
