Are you allowed to copy a pic from a magazine?

I bbought the magazine and wanted to copy (from my printer) and print it and put it on my wall because i wanted a extra copy,

There is no problem with copying it if you paid for the magazine with your own money and just want to stick in a binder or your office. Now, its a different story if you're making copies of them to sell...

Why? Because its copyrighted and you can get sued for it.

only for personal use - anything else is a copyright infringement

as long as the copy is for yourself and you don't give them away and you only make one. I see no harm, however you might want to contact the magazine and ask permission first just to be on the safe side.
