  1. Well you are allowed it just isn't exactly possible.  Anime is Japanese animation, if you make something exaclty like Naruto or Bleach it won't be anime.  It may be the same style as a lot of anime but anime never has and never will be a style.  Of course if Fosters can brew Australian Beer in Canada then I guess anything is possible.

  2. lmao

  3. As long as you do it in the same kick *** way as the perfectionist japanese then i don't see why not but most american anime is pretty c**p

  4. Yes? But its gonna be called OEL (Original English Language)

    ...

  5. No, it is forbidden.

The Pacific International Select Staffing for Entertainment and Recordings has determined that anime is proprietory, like champagne and burgundy.

It MUST come from Japan to be official amine; otherwise it is to be called "Amerimation"

  6. yes but if you do your favorite show with anime fan art you will be shunned

  7. Well you can but you probably couldn't have it in theaters it would probably have to be a Direct-To-DVD  Because all the animes i've seen in stores have not been in theaters

  8. just stick to cartoons a so called American  anime sucks

  9. Yes u can. But I don't think it would be called Anime, cause it will be made in the USA. Like the cartoon Avatar, it has anime drawing type, but they didn't called it an anime cartoon.

  10. No!  It's against the law!  Of course you can make one.  Why wouldn't you be able to?

  11. Of course you, or anyone else, could make what would be regarded as an anime by Japanese people. "Anime" simply means "animated cartoon" in Japanese and does not indicate which country the product is from. Some Japanese use the term "Japanimation" to indicate that a particular animation is a product from Japan (and ironically "Japanimation" is a term that was coined in the U.S.A. to distinguish Japanese cartoons from American ones). Only American fans of Japanimation will insist that "anime" is a term which can only be applied to Japanese products, which is an idea that would cause most Japanese to laugh long and hard.

In short, it is only your fellow anime fans who would insist that you couldn't make an anime since you are an American. If I were you, I would ignore them.

  12. it wouldnt be called anime though if you made it in america. but you could totally do it! avatar the last airbender is amerian but it has an asian flare or palette or whatever
