  1. Haha.

    Unfortunatly not!

If you ever did that to me or one of my mates at our pool you'd literally be dragged out the centre kicking and screaming.

If a lifeguard is pushed in the pool (which is a form of assault) the rest of the lifeguard team have to set off the Incident Alarm and empty the pool. The rest of the leisure centre staff on dryside duty would come running to the pool hall and the police would almost certainly be called – and therefore you would be prosecuted.

At the very least, if the lifeguard you pushed in didn’t want to make press charges, you’d be dragged to the door and thrown out in your swimwear.

For your sake, I hope you were joking.

Oh and by the way, Lifeguards don't set out to ruin your trip to the swimming pool - all we try and do is prevent accidents from happening. Therefore, you were being told off to prevent yourself from causing any harm to your friends, yourself or other pool users.

  2. You could get arrested for assault.

  3. i would only do it if i knew them and they were off duty

  4. A lifeguard's job is much like that of a police officer. They are there to ensure the safety of people at the pool. At no time are they supposed to take their eyes off the pool and swimmers when on duty.

If you distract them - let's say by pushing them into the water - someone could get hurt or potentially drown because of your anger managment issues.

If you feel the guard targeted you and your mates unfairly then ask another employee if you can talk to the pool manager.

  5. They would just kick you out of the pool and move on with their lives, not a good idea!

Aren't people with limited power, who think they are almighty great?

  6. DO NOT DO IT!!!! I am a lifeguard and unless you and I were just really cool (and judging from how u say he was getting at you all, you aren't) if you did push me in the pool depending on how bad of a mood I was in I could do several things. (1) give you a time out, (2) kick you out for the day, or (3) if i was just really having a bad day I could revoke your swimming privileges at the pool for the rest of the season.  so that's something you definitely don't want to do!!!

  7. Of course you can but first you have to find a boxer and punch him!!!!
