What if an in-patient want to smoke? Where is the best place to do so? Is it the bathroom?

It's just for a story I'm writing.

  1. no your definitely not allowed to smoke in hospitals and because of the new smoking ban you have to leave the hospital grounds or face a fine, my brother had this problem not that long ago he was in for 2 weeks and just hid round the corner to smoke. or they can give you a patch it could be a good time to quit.

  2. No,and if your addicted..they give you a nicotine patch.

  3. Your definitely not allowed to smoke in hospitals but I would say hanging out of a window somewhere that staff don't go very often.

  4. ...here in China everyone smokes in the hospital if they want too

    ...evern in the ER room

...they are soo smart (the Chinese)

smoking cigarettes and inside the ER too

...but you gotta remember that hospitals here are closer to the 1930s style than 2008 style

....H2O2 is still considered new and experimental in these hospitals

...sterile water and sulpher powder and mercurchrome are all the rage

..soo whatever you choose, just know if you lived in China, your hospital stay would be so much 'nicer'

  5. Please don't smoke in the hospital.  It's kinda rude to the other patients on the floor.  Besides, O2 is probably in the wall...one spark could ignite the O2 and blow up the room.  I'm sure you could leave the floor and go smoke outside in a designated area.

  6. No. The only place you are allowed to smoke in a hospital is usually outside or in smoking-designated areas if the hospital has them
