Are you allowed to take a BB Gun onboard a plane?

I have a Metal BB Sniper,and im going to Brazil in a month,im just wondering if I can bring it?Would the police get involved,if so ill leave it in America.

No, not onboard, but you are allowed to check it.  

Firearms carried as checked baggage MUST be unloaded, packed in a locked hard-sided container, and declared to the airline at check-in.

You can pack it in your bags that you check in.  You can not carry it in your carry on.  Call the airport and make sure.  They will be happy to tell you.  Some of the things that you can take have changed over the years.  My kids could not take a water pistol in their carry on, but were allowed to pack it in checked luggage.  We go on scuba diving trips, and can pack our spear guns  and dive knives in our checked bags.

You are allowed as long to put it in your checked baggage. The bag that you give to the airline stewardess when you check in. It is no problem.
