Are you allowed to touch the wax figures in madame tussaud's?

i mean can u like grab their hand while takin a photo..?

  1. Yes you may touch the figures.  Most of them are out in the middle of the floor and easily accessible.  I took photos with arms around them, holding hands, and other goofy poses that involved touching the figures.  They are all out in the open and welcoming you to pose with them.  For example Julia Roberts leans on a chair for you to sit in, the Incredible Hulk has his hand out so you can climb in and look like you're being grabbed by him.  I went 4 years ago to the one in London so they may not have these specific figures on display now, but you get the idea.  I'm sure the policy hasn't changed since I have been to the brand new Madame Tussaud's in Washington DC and was also allowed to touch the figures.


  2. Actually, it is allowed. I too have taken pictures like that. But if it is broken, then it is considered that you are bankrupted

  3. well considering it is a museum and it is not hands on then no

    just like everything else if everyone touched an item then after a while it willl not be as good anymore because the oils on your fingers and hands

  5. Yes, you can touch them.  They are situated all across open rooms.  You can throw your arm around them for photos, etc.
