Are you allowed to write in your test book on the LSAT?

I know you cannot use scrap paper for the LSAT except for the writing portion, but can you write in your test booklett? I know none of these answers would be scored, but I ask because of the logic games section... it is just so helpful to write those things down!

Any help would be great.

  1. Yes, you can definitely write in your test booklet, and the typical person makes a lot of markings, especially in Games. The one rule is that you can only write in the section that you are working in, so if you are in section 2, you can only make marks in section 2.

As for Games, you are right, making a diagram to capture all the information is essential. The best testers typically make an entire setup to capture all of the information given at the start of the game.

    Good luck!
