  1. You may take them on, but from the time the door closes at your departure airport and from the time the door opens at the arrival airport it must be turned off.  Important note: many new phones have a feature called "Airplane Mode".  Do NOT use this.  This feature has not been approved by the FAA.  Your phone must be completely turned off.

  2. Yes but they have to be turned off. :)

  3. you are ALLOWED to take them on the plane, but cannot use them while in flight

  4. You can use your phone in flight (when allowed by the flight staff) if it has a game or airplane mode and the phone is placed in that mode prior to takeoff -- otherwise, it would need to be off for the duration of the flight.  Contrary to the incorrect answer given, the FAA does not have regulations that disallow phones to be used during a flight in airplane or game mode -- flight attendants on most flights, in fact, are quite clear in stating that phones in that mode may be used.

  5. you can

but they must be turned off or on airplane mode so they dont affect the connection of the airplane

  6. you can, but they need to be off.

when you use them in a plane,

you interfeer with the radio that the piolets are using, and may hear their conversation.

  7. you are absolutly aloud to take them on but for other reasons are not allowed to turn them on, make calls, or txt. Hope i helped!!! :)
