  1. When I set my mind on doing something,  no pain is great enough to stop me from achieving my goals.  What has to be done has to be done...no matter what!

Moreover,  its never for personal pleasure,  it always in line with my duties.  We are taught 'discipline' right from childhood...it helps a lot!

  2. NO, depends on the objective or goal, also it's importance In our live and its value to make a difference.

  3. As much as I avoid pain and put measures in for my own safety.

The beauty that can come from manipulating hot and molten metal often causes a great deal of pain.  I couldn't speak properly for a couple of days as a blob of molten glass entered my mouth.

As an Aspie, emotionally I suffer daily as I try to understand you "normals".

  4. The painan individual is willing to suffer depends entirely upon the administrator thereof. From some we gladly walk upon coals with a smile and head held high. From others we would not allow a rebuke without vengeance.

Objective in life is peace and liberty. To gain or reach that goal requires the overcoming of many impediments and obstacles. Once principles are compromised what is there left to the sum of man.

For one we would gladly endure the harshest storms and perilous paths to fight for his honour find our way to his door. Pain and struggle suffered for and by those whom we love is not pain but a reminder of Eden’s nirvana lost.

I would not compromise my dignity or honour for none, not even God. Pain is a poison dispensed by life intermittently in betwixt bouts of laughter, tears of blood and agonised anguish. One must reconcile to the egomaniac barbaric God. Others we would inflict manifold a singular slight to our sensibilities. Amen. So Be It.

  5. If it requires it, yes. If it doesn't require it, no.

  6. and through h**l if necessary.

  7. It depends upon what is the source of the "pain" and my objective. I would need to ask myself is the pain I am feeling in relation to the objective and what relation does it involve the pain. Do I feel that the pain I am feeling can disappear through achieving my objective? Is my pain and the objective in completely different aspects? Do I sincerely have full control in the situation to actually achieve my objective, or is it something I will pursue just for relief of the pain?

If we are speaking of love, then I might not wish to pursue my objective just to reach what I want in life for there is another side of the equation and I do not have control over everything. It may be better in this case to feel the pain and come to acceptance rather than fruitlessly pursue an objective for the motivation of self.

If my objective is a goal (say education), then yes, the pain I am feeling will be pushed to the back burner and I will push forward to achieve that goal with my full strength. I am a self-motivated individual and the objective could very well be crucial compared to the pain I am feeling.
