no it happens alot i just forget ppl or there ppl my parents know who i havent meet in a long time

If ur talking bout on here then i get scared lol but in daily life yes i am amazed i think of how they would know me

It's weird when complete stranger's say: "I remember when you were this big! Look how tall you got!"

That's just creepy.

Star for you my friend,i ran into a dude at the gas station yesterday and he was like whats up Joe,i was like hey how you been? I had no clue who he was.

Actually, I feel delighted and my spirit uplifted when people i don't know seem to know me. It is a sign of our growing popularity. I have had many such instances as I am in public life.

I have a significant Sun line in my right palm stretching from the bottom of my palm to the base of my ring finger and that may be the reason for it.

George Bernard Shaw used to ask his unknown visitors, " Do I know you?" Such was his popularity and  fame.

Fame is an intoxicating thing & always goes straight to our head.

I think I'm no exception to it.

If you have learned anything here in yahoo answers over the years you have learned people talk and before you know it you are known by everyone. The same is true for life off the net. You get a reputation simply by being who you are regardless of what you do or what people know about you.

Had two ladies talk to me from Boston to DC. When one of them finally called me Richard, they figured it out. No. They didn't know me. Still. It was good conversation. LOL

yes, it's freaky. a woman just moved in to the apt block. she buzzed my suite and knew my name!! i did have one h**l of a party this weekend, so.............what did i do?
