  1. I'm optimistic always trying to see the good in every situation. No matter how tragic the situation may be. Searching for the tiny seed of goodness and watching it grow.

  2. I am a pisces so i tend to lean towards the optimistic point of life.

I love to look out of the box and see things for how they are, love to say "it's all good".. even when i've had the worst experiences in life, i'm sad for a bit but i have to remember that life isn't a bowl of yuck, it's a bowl of cherries and we have to face things in our life with smile on our faces.  it's the only way to be. happy and harmoneous.

  3. I'm a pessimist on the outside because it makes for a cool posture.

I'm an optimist on the inside because we all are...life would be impossible otherwise.

  4. A pessimist. I don't see how anybody can be optimistic when all we live for is death. That said, I smile and laugh and hope for things so there's some form of optimism/realism in there somewhere.

  5. I'm a realist. Meaning, i judge a situation on how it really is. If something really bad is happening, I'm not going to sit there and say: it's okay, things will get better, everything will be okay, simply because at that point in time, I'm upset and there is no consoling me. However, if something good is going on, I'll recognize that as well and I'll be happy with everything around me me in my life. Basically, I live life knowing that not everything is rainbows and puppy dogs but at the same time, it's not like we've been condemned to h**l either. I live my life in the middle because I think that's how the world really is at this point.

  6. On this subject i used to be indecisive, but now i'm not so certain!

  7. I think of myself as a realist with pessimistic tendencies, but I'm really an optimist at heart.

  8. Mostly optimistic. My overall view of the world, and people in general, is positive. I believe that the world is a much safer place, and people are more trustworthy, than the news media would have us think. I doubt that things will turn out as badly as the doomcriers say it will.

We're an intelligent, resilient species, and I have considerable faith in our ability to make it through the worst the world throws at us. We have survived much already, and I see no reason that we will not continue to do so.

Now, I'm not a complete Pollyanna. I know people are capable of evil, but it's usually with a lowercase "e" and outweighed by the good.

  9. I take the pessimistic view. It keeps me on my toes and as a bonus I am pleasantly surprised when things work out in my favour. And when they don't, I am prepared for it. I have nothing against the optimistic view but in my world it leaves one open to scenarios that just are not pleasant to contemplate.

Take Yahoo Answers. No matter how hard I try to give an appropriate answer I know in my mind that someone may disagree and give me a thumbs down or report me. And if I get best answer I am pleasantly surprised. No problem.

  10. I'm a hypocrite

When the world wants me to be optimistic I can't help but be pessimistic and vise-versa. I just don't know...

  11. For a pessimist, I'm pretty optimistic...

  12. I see the glass as neither half full nor half empty.

I see the glass as poorly designed for the contents it is holding.

I think this makes me an engineer.

  13. ...optimist, always hoping for a better day and a bigger surf swell to come in tomorrow...

  14. I used to be an optimist but now I'm more of a realist.  This makes me seem pessimistic most of the time because most people have unrealistically hopeful outlooks on life.  Being a pessimist/realist might seem like a sad way to lead your life, but it's really a lot of fun!  Optimists are rarely surprised by life's happier twists of luck, realists are rarely surprised by the downers in life, but really get to enjoy the little real luck that comes each person's way.  Haha, being an optimist was just too tiring and lead to way too many disappointments.  I'm much happier now.

  15. A pessimist because I enjoy being pleasantly surprised and hate being disappointed.

  16. Whether opti or pessi a mist appears for a short time and then is gone.

  17. I am an Optimist. Suppose there's a half filled or half empty glass of water. And when i see that i'll assume it's half filled and not half empty ok? So doesn't that makes me a positive thinker and not a negative one? An optimist i mean?

  18. At this moment in time, I would have to say more of a Pessimist,  not much at this moment in Time, to be Optimist, with what going on in this so Cr**y World...

Although, on the inside, I might actually feel, a bit more Optimist,  with certain thing,  I'll just have to wait and see what happens next, to see on how i'll feel next...
