  1. I am... I figure if I am that far gone I don't want to live like that anyways.

  2. No. I don't believe in transplant surgery.

  3. yes i am an organ donar..

  4. LOL -- you've been watching too many scary movies.  You are definitely dead when the organs are removed.

  5. I am an organ donor. When I applied for my learner's permit when I was 15  I decided to do this, and I had no hesitation. When I'm dead, I have no use for it, but somebody else surely does. A local coach just got a heart transplant and had been waiting for a while. If you donate your organs, you are dead, but you can give somebody else the chance to live.

  6. I willl not become an organ donor for many reasons.  #1 Nobody should have a need for others organs., keep what you have or face the facts of dying.  #2 harvesting of organs is a huge unscrupulous business and it makes many people wealthy because of the shady business practices of selling human flesh. Funeral homes, hospitals, nursing homes have all been involved in the flesh trade for years......yes  you do have a logical fear of being afraid.  I WILL NOT be an organ donor on my drivers license application either.  It seems to me that you must feel intimidated if you are NOT a donor.  I just say NO to donor requests.  I feel that the guts you were born with should stay with you and not implanted anywhere else.

  7. Not currently, but I probably will leave my body to science for research because I have had some interesting diseases and what they find may be of value to help others.  Pretty well solves the problem of funeral and burial costs because they will cremate free and return ashes to whom you specify in the contract and I have instructed mine where to sprinkle.  Pretty sure the science community will ascertain whether or not I have truly passed on.

  8. yes i am an organ donor, i won't need them when i'm dead.

i wonder if maggie c ever needed an organ transplant if she would refuse it

  9. I was an organ donor, now I have a blood disease that makes me ineligible.  Simple selfishness not to be one if you can.  Maggie C is a good example of that selfishness.  Nothing in it for her so she says "no way".  Pathetic.

  10. There has to be a level of trust somewhere that the people who are looking at you are competent to determine that fact. YES, I am an organ donor. AND it is in my will as well as on the back of my driver's license. I have a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) form in the custody of my son so if I become incapacitated in some manner, he can make decisions for me to end my life gracefully. I will NOT be kept alive by machines with no hope of recovery. If my brain is dead, it is time to let my body follow suit, and use those organs that they can. A number of religious people I know disagree with my attitude toward my own death, considering the DNR to be WRONG, since it is effectively committing suicide, which they consider a mortal sin. Really, you do not have anything to be concerned about. There is NO conspiracy to harvest organs from people who are unwilling or from people who are not dead yet.You just have to have trust in the people who will make the decision if the time comes.
