1. If yes to being apathetic, then why are you apathetic?

2. If no to being apathetic, then what conflict do you pay attention to the most and do you research the conflict at all?

Here is a list of conflicts in a previous question I answered and got a best answer for. Please look at the link to see a list of 27 different conflicts at the bottom.

Also, another conflict I can think of is the India-Pakistan conflict.

Here is the link, if you want to, look into some of these

Also, please tell me if you know of conflicts that I don´t know of.

  1. I'm probably not as apathetic as I should be.

  2. America+ Britain( oil$)= troubles in the world!!

    this affect me always

  3. I've become apathetic as a way to protect myself emotionally.

We're so inundated with bad news from all over the world that if we took every one to heart we'd be mental cases.

  4. I suppose I am, the reason being I pay a lot of attention to domestic problems such as our economy and the upcoming election.  Even the networks have trimmed back their world coverage favoring what is going on here at home. I wish our media would be bringing us the real story of Iraq, I hear there are some real promising things happening there, but the liberal media isn't covering it.

  5. if apathetic means aware of and doing somethiung about it and caring then no. if it means the opposite then yes. I have no clue about the world around us, let alone any other thing that happens away from Normal-Blooming, IL. so i really can't give attention to problems or anything else on the subject.

  6. I don't know

    And I don't care.

  7. those are only the tip of the iceberg that capitalism has created.

    karma is coming

give a hoot stand up for something other than shopping at walmart cheap gas

  8. Just the ones that never ever get better.

    Examples: Israel/Palestine   India/Pakistan

  9. I personally find apathy disgusting and selfish. I try to stay up to date on world affairs and to do what I can to donate time or money to causes working to better the world like Amnesty International, Save Darfur, and Free Tibet. I read Time magazine, US News & World Report, and The Week every week (and The Economist when I can). I also check MSNBC online daily. Whenever I need more information I usually just use the internet, or go to the library if I can.

The conflicts I pay attention to the most are the current election fiasco in Zimbabwe, the War on Terror (in Iraq and Afghanistan), the genocide in Sudan, the civil war in Uganda, FARC and Columbia, the Chinese occupation of Tibet, ETA in the Basque region of Spain, and the Sandinista movement in Nicaragua (not on your list). I also follow the international use of child soldiers and the spread of AIDS.
