This is sad and sickening, people are so against women that they attack this lady's family. Obama is an admitted drug user, yet that is ok with people, but Palin's husband's DWI is not. Obama has way more dirt on him yet they are attacking Palin the same way they attacked Hillary. I hope Hillary will come to her aid and help stop this c**p before it goes any further.

My mom was killed by a drunk driver! I don't agree driving under the influence is safe! Its wrong! She shouldn't have became vice precedent if she cant handle all her personal business is coming up! Everyone smokes pot or drinks sometime! But common sense stops you from driving!

Hillary will not come to Palin's aid.

Obama's usage and Palin's husband's DWI, unless you have evidence to the contrary, happened a long time ago.  Palin's daughter's  problems are regrettable but by themselves, irrelevant.

What is relevant is Palin's willingness to deny choice to all women, to waste our time teaching creationism in science class and appears willing to abuse executive power for personal vengeance.  

None of that has anything to do with gender.  If McCain had picked Hannity to be his running mate, the reaction would be the same.  Extremism does not have a gender.

It's not dirt if you admit it. It's dirt if it comes out despite your attempt to sweep it under the rug. What do you find under a rug? Dirt. So, Obama came out and admitted to his drug abuse and it's a non-issue (same with George Bush 8 years ago).

However, Palin has presented herself and her family as the image of purity and American values. Thus, when so much dirt comes out about her -- and it's only been four days since she was announced -- it is legitimate to ask "Is she as pure as she says she is?"

Turns out the answer is: not so much.

Will Hillary come out and support her? Why would she do that? If Sarah Palin gets elected she will eclipse Hillary Clinton as a legendary champion for the female cause in politics. Moreover, Sarah Palin is an anti-feminist: she stands against everything that feminists have fought for.

It would be a let down of epic proportions if the Sarah Palin is the first woman to ascend to the office of the VP: standing on the shoulders of women whose rights she opposes.

Oh come on.  This is not sexist.  They attack everyone.  Obama has been attacked for his association with Rev. Wright, William Ayers, and more.  Michelle was attacked for saying it was the first time she was proud to be an American.  McCain has been attacked numerous times.  Candidates are attacked whether they are male or female.
