  1. Not that I know of any...but why would you be either proud or ashamed??

No.. it would certainly not be a thrill to be related to a monster or serial killer.  However.. for me, genealogy is strictly objective. I have no control (or benefit) from famous relatives, so I don't know why people would get over involved with it.

  2. Okay, I'm not sure how this is gonna fly, because this is the first time I'm letting this out in public. I'm not sure how I feel being related to this person. I'm primarily Hispanic. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. My Mother's side of the family migrated from Mexico, with French and Chinese on that side of the family, and on my Dad's side of the family, there's Scotch, Irish, Mescalero Apache, and possibly(since my Dad's side of the family is from New Mexico) we think ...Billy the Kid. Someone in our family apparently helped Billy escape from the hoosegow in Mesilla, N.M. People who know me (and who've lost money to me) say it must be trus as I am a good shot. Wanna see? Bring money !:)

Sorry, folks...as much as I think I may get a "BULL" from folks, this is what I've been getting from relatives since I was a baby. I'd love to be able to put you in contact with my resources, but if they aren't dead, they speak spanish or live in Mexico.

  3. I don't think I have any notorious people in my family...

But I do have William Blake :)

  4. prowd as a peecock as icum frum th rit stuff

  5. I don't as far as I'm concerned.

  6. Does horse thieves count as notorious?   I would not be

    proud.

  7. I don't have any notorious people in my tree but if I did I would be glad because it would mean more records about them would probably be available and it adds another dimension to the information that you have about them.

I must admit I was pretty pleased to find an old article in the Times newspaper about my great great grandfather getting tried for assault in the 1800's.

  8. It depends on what they're famous or notorious for!
