  1. I only saw snippets of it.  It seemed to be disgust at the way the Windies folded in that game but I couldn't really tell.  I hope it wasn't about umpiring decisions given the Bucknor controversy in Australia last summer.

It's a bit of a problem with crowds world wide at the moment. The Mumbai incident, the egg in Hobart, the reactions in Pakistan to very sensible security concerns and now this.  I would be ashamed if I were of any race and my countrymen behaved like that.

One thing I'm sure of.  Like Australia, action will be taken by the West Indies about this.

EDIT: Finally caught it properly on the news after travelling the past two days.  I still think it was more (probably rum fuelled) disgust at how the windies played.  The crowd was getting restless before that by the look of it.  Pity hey?

  2. yes it was a bit ugly and for no reason

the batsman was bowled admitadly the incidend would not have happened if sammy had left the field

  3. Yes it was an unfortunate incident..

I think if Darren Sammy walked it might have made it a bit easier, but also the fact that there are no Big Screens is what made the matte worse. If the crowd could see the replay then they would have seen it was indeed out..

I was a little surprised,i didn't expect the West Indian crowds to react like that..

Phil Jaques sure is lucky he decided to join the team in the middle,i watched it,he was the only player still on the boundary, then he realised he very well maybe a target out there...

  4. Yeah...emotional match for Australia, and they honored Jane McGrath.

Shouldn't  have behaved like that, the West Indies crowd.

But Sammy HAD to stay on field and that's why things got a little out of hand.

  5. yeah they shouldn't have behaved this way because this match was dedicated to Late Jane Mcgrath. Atleast they should respect people like Jane

  6. It was shameful I was disgusted myself but what can anyone do?  It seems there still a big problem in the Windies as if the world cup didn't give them enough lesson, there wasn't big screen to replay spectators had to rely on radio.  I mean the game was certain to be won by Australia anyway and Sammy was acting unprofessional the umpire says youre out then you're out full stop but he was in daze of confusion as if he doesn't know the rule....  there was few got arrested but I haven't heared any apology to the aussie yet...  Ricky Ponting did what's best, to stay in the ground until it sorted out....  the windies abandoned their team early they left even the before the match is over...
