This happened to me when I was working at the U.S. Interest section in 1999 in Havana. I was wondering if there were other cases out there.....

  1. No, but my dad told me that when he was stationed there during the Korean war, before Castro, they had street vendors.

Who specialized in roast dog sticks.

Some of his buddies said Labrador day was best.

It was and remains a poor country.

so I would say no, not the government, just the hungry people. Same as before Castro.

  2. Has been reported in 'Miami Herald' (are they referring to you)

  3. Yes!  Email me.  I knew someone whose cat was strangled and left on her doorstep.

  4. That sounds a bit bizarre, at best.
