Are you aware of the new Book on Sam Langford ?

I know that this is not a typical boxing question but I wanted to ask if anybody was aware of the soon-to-be published Biography on Sam Langford ? ----The Book is entitled " Sam Langford...Boxing's Greatest Uncrowned Champion " by Clay Moyle. -- I am a big fan of Langford & I think this book is long over-due.--- It is apparently scheduled to be released in a couple of weeks & for any interested parties......no....this is not a sales promo nor will I make any money on this book but I do intend to buy this book. I heard the advance reviews were great.

Thank you so much for this info sir.  I will definetly add it to my small library of boxing books and is as you said long over-due.  I enjoy reading good boxing stories and I appreciate the heads up.

NO, I wasn't aware of this book. My husband likes boxing, so I will have to pass this on to him.

It's definitely on my "must read list", this it the first I heard of it, but I will most certainly pick up a copy of it when I get the chance.  I too hold Sam Langford in high regard, a true all time great.  Sucks that the color line so limited the exposure of some the his era's greats.  But we learn from history's mistake, hopefully so that we don't repeat them in the future.
