Are you aware of this?

Is anyone out there aware of "Natural Selection"? If so would you agree that in today's society there is natural selection and this is one way among others that natural selection exsists. In today's world the uneducated(People with no College degree) have to work minimum wage jobs which forces them to live from pay check to pay check just narrowly escaping starvation or being homeless(will call this side the weaker and dieing race of people, which can include any color or race of person that works minimum wage to survive).

While the other side the college educated who can obtain good jobs dont have to worry of starvation or being homeless(The stronger of the race). my point is that dont just say well the poor people have the option of college, because its a proven fact college isnt for some people).

So after reading that the question is, Does Natural Selection exsist among Humankind and exsist today as well?

Natural selection, as used in biology, acts only on genetic traits.

While the Darwinian definition of natural selection may be used as a metaphor for the survival of ideas, cultures, and knowledge, it is not an apt analogy.

Because there is no genetic component to these cultural traits, they can be acquired by individuals who did not start with the trait.  The model is more akin to Lamarck's theory of acquired characteristics than Darwin's theory of natural selection.

Natural selection works on individuals/genomes and physical/behavioral traits. Your scenario would allow much cross genetic flow between your putative divide.

Well , take a cat, she goes into heat and at least, two male cats come along, they fight, the best one wins and the other male cat runs away. She mates with the best fighter.  Now, humans don't fight.  A human woman is looking for marriage. She gets into her tight fitting clothes and goes to a bar.  A guy there says hey goodlooking would you like a ride in my new sports car and go back to my place to watch my big screen TV.  She says well what job do you do? he says sewer disposal.  She says, no thanks.  Another guy comes along and says the same thing but that he races cars for a living.  She says ok.  Now, the sewer disposal guy makes the same paycheck as the race car driver but his job has the possibility of getting ill health.  The race car driver is bold and daring and popular doesn't hurt.  He wins the cat fight.

Humans do not have Natural Selection, what humans have is an artificial selection. We are match by economic status, popular status, power status, educational (professional)status and race (looks). This selection is not natural but artificial.

In the US for example, in the top of the "food chain" you have actors/singers, sports figures, celebrities. That is popular, looks and economic status.

The Bill Gates, Oprah type. That is economic, professional, power status.

And the Political elites, The Bushes, The Kennedy's, The Clinton's. That is the economic, power status.

Therefore we are prisoners of What we are instead of Who we are. The Who is natural, the What is artificial.

Now, saying that, this artificial selection has some characteristics of natural selection, that is, the stronger survives, the weak ones die.

I don't think natural selection is that common today, but it still exist, just rare (for humans).  

Before, kings/queens/royalty does natural selection to maintain the rich bloodline.  Now, there is not a lot of royalty due to new things, such as democracy, communism, etc.  Also, there were natural selection on the brown people (when they were treated as slaves), choosing only the strongest ones, and eliminating those who are weak.  That's why most (if not all) brown people are athletics and muscle-people this days.

Well, today, I don't think natural selection is that common anymore.  They only do it in technology such as cloning.

About the poor people going to college, poor people aren't dumb.  I know in my place, a native (think of native indians who live in tents and such) went to college and graduated to become a lawyer.  Her classmates used to laugh at her but she became a succesful lawyer.

Among humans, the main characteristic which determine our survival is the capacity to adapt to the environment, is to produce our food, our shelters and covers (clothes), then comes the ability to grab from any other source those key elements, as animals we are, to achieve that let us to breed and feed a family.

Now let's consider education, the development of all those capabilities are obtained from the education in any of the almost infinite variety ways it could be done, in the streets or the colleges, the most capable ones grab  the basic tools necessary to get food, a shelter, s*x and some other essential to survive.

The modern man, living in cities, surrounded by cars, big buildings, universities, plasma TVs and a lot of gadgets, I dare to qualify " useless stuff useful to complicate the life" that is  mostly  vanity surplus.

The continuous struggle to have the best creates a situation of competition which force us to study more (not necessarily college degrees) in order to make us more capable to get those commodities which finally will give us more headaches and will be enjoyed by others.

Education is a real necessity in our society, it is a tool for competition, and creates a natural selections, lazy or less educated people will desapear in the time, but education is not the absolute solution to the problems of the humankind, instead it is the conciuouness of the needs and the search of the elements to survive. THAT MAKES THE NATURAL SELECTION

Natural Selection exists each time you choose who you go out on a date with!

You choose a mate for their beauty, health, symmetry, mental balance, etc...

If one of you gets pregnant, you choose whether or not to keep the child, and whether or not to start a family!

This is all Natural Selection!
