  1. I am proud to say that I am NOT blind in either eye, although bare-eyed without contacts or glasses my vision is terrible.

I have JRA (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis) and I was told if it were to ever spread to my eyes which is not very likely I would get an inflammation in my eye(s) and would be blind.

So far for the last 11 years I've been diagnosed (diagnosed since age 2) I've shown no sign of it going towards my eyes.

    !!!!!!!!!

I have to get bi-annual eye exams at Children's so they can check my myopia and if the JRA has spread up to the ey area.

I'm very happy that the doctors turned out to be wrong and you aren't blind! You're 24 years past when you should have been totally blind, I think you're okay! And I'm happy for you that you have really good eyesight with only one eye.

HOPE I HELPED! even though I didn't really answer your question, did I? Sorry!

  2. I used to have a lazy eye when i was 2 (actually legally blind) but i had eye surgery when i was 2 or so, and actually see about 20/15, 20/20 outta both eyes (depends on the day) there is basically no scar tissue but sometimes they say my eyes are completly fused together but very close

    im 17 now!

    just my little story!

  3. My sister is nearly blind in one eye as a result of amblyopia that wasn't successfully treated. She can see but her vision in one eye is very weak.
