  1. nah so what if gas cost 400 instead of 200 u will still have great time. and for only 200 extra should be easy to make up huh !

  2. Yes we are now not going on vacation. We were going to drive to Las Vegas but i  dont think we will now.

  3. Yes. My husband and I were going to go to visit family in Montana and go to Yellowstone.  We can't now because it would cost us over $900.00 in gas.  And that's just for the trip to and from....that doesn't include all the sight seeing in Yellowstone, and driving around between family members homes.

    Instead...we are going camping.  Whoopee!

  4. Sort of.  I'm Canadian and while gas prices have increased, so has our Canadian dollar and other vacation prices like hotels have actually come down.  I am finding vacations are actually cheaper than 5 years ago.  But, my fuel efficient car helps, I wouldn't head out on the road on a gas guzzling SUV.

So I am changing my plans, I am going on more road trips.  Went to Seattle last weekend, and plan to go back a couple more times.  Also went camping locally already matching the number of camping trips I did last summer.  (And the weather hasn't even been cooperative yet.)
