  1. er if i was on a sinking boat... i would jump out screaming.. and kick and paddle as much as possible. with the life jacket. i am a hopeless swimmer... the most i can do is maybe a handstand, and many rides down a waterslide.. i mean i can tread.. but i cant do strokes... properly at least.

  2. no unless they're required for the activity. (I'm a swimmer and a competive swim team coach so i don't really need it)

  3. um yes. because you cant drown like at all....

i dont get this question hah

  4. no, because i'm good swimmer at the same time diver......

  5. Proper life jackets are designed to keep your head above water so you can breathe even if you fall unconscious.  They are not for anything else.  They are particularly uncomfortable and restrictive.

There are other floatation devices or suits for swimming but they are not the same as an approved life jacket.  They are designed for recreational swimming, water skiing, or any other activity.  Those items are called  floatation devices.  and there are appropriate ones for those activities.

  6. nope im a good swimmer

  7. 41-Female.  I guess it depends on where I am.  If I am skiing on the lake or being towed behind my dad's sail boat, then yes.  If I am swimming in dad's pool, no.  I would use a PFD for a toy rather than what it's used for.

    PFD-personal floatation devise
