to order shrimp/seafood dishes at restaurants because...

1. more expensive

2. the amount of seafood/shrimp served is so tiny

By the age of 30 your probably already an avid shrimp eater so you must already have a pretty good idea of how to get it where they serve it the best. I would just limit the amount of places where you would order that particular meal. They have some ba*la*zin fried shrimp @ the Sandpiper in East Haven, Ct. I don't know if you wanna drive 8 hours for shrimp though.

I'll only order fish from restaurants I know well. I have had too many bad experiences of over priced bad fish meals.

not sure where you are or what restaurants you are ordering your shrimps/seafood from, but if it's Red Lobster or Long John Silver or some type of fast food restaurant - stay out of them. Here were I am, the best place to order seafood and get a nice portion size is Pappa's Seafood, Landrys, Sams Boat, place that are sit down style dinners.
