  1. Yes, I do. For example I did help reduce the air pollution by using buses as transports instead of my dad's car.

And I recycled my rubbish, instead of burning them.

But I don't think I done enough though, for a member of the Nature Lover Club...how sad

There are many things you can do at home. Use paper bags instead of plastic bags.

And whenever you have leftover food, don't throw them away, just use them as fertilizers. Good luck!

  2. yes i am. i recycle. i take the city bus to and from school and they are runnung hybird buses now. all of my computers are set the "better energy saving" i changed the types of light bulbs i use. turn off all light and applicences in the room off when im not in it

    global warming sucks!

  3. There is nothing to do, it does not exist as defined by Al Gore.

  4. I'm trying to f**t less.  I've been a little gassy lately.

  5. It would appear that the Global Warming issue is quickly becoming the new "political correctness" thing. Personally, I think it's a bit silly. There are so many variables, and natural cycles that go on whether people are here or not as to make our part insignificant. Some one yelled "the sky is falling", or in this case the world is warming, and all of the "Chicken Little's" are in a full blown panic over it.

When people REALLY begin to make a noticeable impact, such as not being the sheep following the rest of the sheep as they are right now, then I'll be more inclined to do my part, what ever that happens to be. Does anyone know or realize that these new lamps use mercury in them, and that this is bad for the environment if they break. That if they break a child could ingest the mercury and suffer health problems as a result. It seems that some of us react, rather than acting. We have viable alternative fuels, but of what impact is that if few people are making their own? What little that is being done is like a thimble full of water on a forest fire. For all of those into recycling, that is old news. It was being done before a lot of you were born.

  6. i send this message a lot

and i try to get farmers not to use chemicals and  to harvest water

try to instruct Environmental awareness to school children

global warming i dont think can be stopped but we can stop helping it becoming faster, this requires global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.

    POSITIVE ACTIONS

if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to slowdown the destructive processes

reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.

the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.

the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia

Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.

    the protection of existing forrests.

stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.

education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.

    education on environmental awareness

education on family planning to curb over´populaion

Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.

more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks

,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour

alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine

    recicling wastes,limit water use

here are a 100 more ways

  7. Trying to lessen global warming is like having an ant think it can change the world.  I might feel bad about discouraging the ant but at some point the ant has to learn his limitations.  He just isn't that significant and neither are we, at least not yet.

  8. Yes I am doing all I can to lessen the affect of global warming hysteria by educating people about what is really causing global warming.

While we have been warming overall, right now we are experiencing the coldest April in 113 years. This right after experiencing the warming April on record last year.

Actually, this recent cold spell may be proof that Global Warming isn't caused by carbod dioxide at all.

According to skeptics of the carbon dioxide/global warming theories, the main source of fluctuations in global temperatures is directly due to changes in the sun.

Interestingly we are currently having minimum sunspot activity in the solar cycle, which has particularly just bottomed out over the last week or two, with practically no sunspot activity at all. According to some theories, lack of sunspot activity can cause colder temperatures on Earth, and lots of sunspot activity can cause higher temperatures on Earth.

This is not something Al Gore and the "global warming alarmists" want you to know.

While sunspots cycles usually last about 11 years, they have been increasing overall. However right now, we are in the lowest point of the current cycle, and there have been almost no new sunspots for about 10 days  (as of 4/13/07)

Here is a comparison of sunspot activity in April 2006 (the warmest on record) and this year, the coldest in over a century.

April 2006 (the warmest April ever on record):

April 2007 (so far the coldest in over 100 years)

Pretty amazing isn't it how big of a difference in sunspot activity there was last April verses this year?
