  1. As much as I can. This is a grassroots movement that needs governments help. With the peak of oil we must start using renewable energy. Small hydro, solar, wind, wave, nuclear, geothermal are what we must put our money into-about $20 Trillion Dollars.

  2. I don't believe in that particular religion.

  3. Yes!!!!! I believe I am carrying the responsibility of more than myself, even!!! I am devoted to saivng the enviroment. We only have one Earth, let's not waste it.

  4. Yes I gave away my SUV.

  5. I'm recycling and using my four cylinder Jeep only when I have to.

  6. ABSOLUTELY...we should all do our bit, change a light bulb, turn down the thermostat a degree or two, recycle, buy organic clothing...every little bit helps

  7. I've always been environmentally conscious.  I have my own shopping bags (ie never use plastic or paper).  I always walk (where possible), rather than take the car (which is an economical little 4-cylinder and not a thumpin' great gas-guzzlin' Hummer!).  And I always recycle.

Am I doing my bit.  Yup.  Is it enough?  It's enough for me.

I am not going to go without electricity from coal-fired generators purely because they release CO2 into the atmosphere.  I promise you... when its 39*C outside (like it was on the weekend)... the air con goes on and to h**l with the kilowatts!  It's the 21st century, and I refuse to swelter like a neanderthal because the power supplier hasn't converted their turbines to ethanol-powered versions.

If you want to be all "holier than thou" and banish A/C units to the morgue (along with steam locomotives and coke-fired smelters) because of their pollution output... then may I suggest you move to the back blocks of Afghanistan and leave the rest of the civilised world in the air conditioned comfort we've worked so hard to establish.  LOL

I will get down off my soapbox now.  ROFL

  8. I can't say I am totally.

I mean I try to buy things like the recycled notebook paper,

and those waterbottle things that are recycled or w/e.

I also don't use plastic grocery bags or paper grocery bags

or any bags when buying items. I stick them in my tote bag after I pay... that, and I don't let the people at restaurants refill my water every 10 seconds lol

but I'd like to know more about what I can do.

I'm in my school's environmental club, and we have promoted recycling and done informational stands during lunch and adopted a highway to clean up- but I don't exactly know if that completely counts.

  9. yep, I have a Tesla roadster (electric) we recycle, and have the new florecent bulbs in our home

  10. I try as hard as i can to save water!!!!

  15. I try to use recycled products as much as i can, and i have a compost pile in my backyard... I even turned vegetarian!  My parents think i'm going overboard, tsk tsk.

  16. As green as I can, but I will not stop using toilet paper.
