Not as much recently...but it did happen a few months ago...I hugged the server and gave her a HUGE tip (I'm in my 40s).

Yes. I also work in a restaurant, and we are mandated to card every guest purchasing alcohol that appears to be under the age of 30.

Only about a third of the time---- and I think I actually get carded more now than when I was younger (I'm 27 now).  It varies greatly depending on how large/small a place is, and where it's geographically located (I'm in the Los Angeles area).
