  1. Vacationstogo.com is a highly recomended company by all cruise lines.  I am not saying they will have to best rate, but they are a trusted site for online cruise reservations.

  2. Yes I am very familiar with vacationstogo.com.

However, the absolute best answer I can give you is not to use a travel website, but to talk to a good travel agent who specializes in cruises.  Tell him/her what your needs are, and that "you are looking for the best deal" - you'll get it.

There is no additional cost or hidden fees for their services and you'll have a name and a face to speak to, rather than merely inputting your name, address and credit card into an on-line form and hoping for the best! Personal service is everything.

When I work with clients I walk them through every detail of their trip, matching their needs and desires to the correct cruise line and ship, from paperwork and passports to the many educational, recreational, and cultural activities they can enjoy.”  There are no surprises.

Some final thoughts: 1) make sure you use a good travel agent; 2) ask your travel agent to price out "Celebrity Cruise Line" for you - absolutely the best (our personal favorite!); and 3) remember that August - October is hurricane season in the Caribbean.

Have fun - planning is a big part of the enjoyment!

    Bon voyage!

  3. I am.

I actually booked a cruise thru them this year.  There were 6 of us that went.

The price was very good.  The communication was wonderful.  Our agent was Carla - she absolutely came thru & I would highly recommend her!

We actually had a few (not just one) oddities that she promptly handled and follow up on to make sure we were covered!  For instance - we wound up having to make a passenger change (one that did not have trip insurance) - she covered the change with no added cost - room choice changes were handled.

If you'd like her last name please email me & put in your subject line "cruise - Carla's last name"  -   I don't open email from unknowns.

I'd definately recommend them!  HOWEVER - I'd research what I wanted on their sight & then I'd handle the reservation by phone.

  4. Yes.  I booked from them. They offer good deals.  I searched their web site for deals and then called them up to make the reservation.  That way you have a few days to work out your air travel situation before you have to pay for the reservation.  They are pretty easy to reach by phone.

  5. They are safe!  But they are not the best price.  You are only seeing the cruise fare.  They add in the port charges and taxes at the end and the prices are generally another $200 more per person.  Get a price from me at dena@thecruiseplanner.com to compare.

  6. Disclaimer - I sell cruises, resort and all-inclusive resort vacations.

Buying a cruise is not like buying a shirt or a basketball on line.  If there is a problem with them, you can simply send them back.

However, a cruise is a very different animal.  Unless you have cruised multiple times you will have many questions.  Who will you call?  Heaven forbid there is a problem, who will you call?

Your vacation can be a big expense.  Yes you might save a little money on line (or not) but a professional can assist you in getting the best deal on the best cruise that matches your specific situation.  The folks at on line vacation sellers are order takers, not consultative professionals.

I would be happy to assist you - visit my website - www.whitebottomcruises.com

    Happy sailing!
