A survey question. My thoughts cannot be divined from the question. I'm interested in YOUR thoughts. So, type away, folks. Post your words for all to see. Are you fascinated by human deformities? Is it a morbid fascination, or an upbeat fascination?

  1. I am, and often feel bad for it. It's more of a morbid fascination, but I do tend to be interested in others that are more upbeat.

For the most part, I find them utterly fascinating, and feel almost... ashamed for it. Because they are human beings too, and shouldn't be gawked at. But I can't help it. I have a strange interest in the morbid and unusual.

  2. Yes, I am and so is my brother. He finds these things all over the Internet and recently sent me photos of the "Tree Man" so named because his arms, hands legs and feet were growing "branches" and he really looked like a tree. It is a very rare form of neurofibromatosis (elephant man disease, a mutation) and is getting treatment for it and has recovered quite a bit.
