Are you fond of Arachnids?

Question

While stepping out of my shower stall...

Eeeek! A spider on the wall!

(Bigger than a breadbox and crawling near my socks!)

How dare he visit when I'm not even dressed?

Have to admit, I'm not impressed.

While contemplating what I might do...

I bent down and picked up my shoe.

KAPOW!

(He's impressed now.)

poor little critters! i don't want them in the house, either.  never take personally they were endowed with so much poison, they need it if they are to eat.  on the other hand, palmetto bugs (2-3 inch roaches) are fair game for Grace!  If indeed there is a God I'm going to ask about palmetto bugs and mosquitoes.

Funny and very cute. I especially like that last line because it made me giggle.   Actually, I do like spiders so unless they are black widows or a brown recluse, I usually capture them and set them free, but I can completely understand the fear/disgust from whence the poem was derived.  Very enjoyable write.
