Are you for or against the GATT and the NAFTA?

Both GATT and NAFTA promote a policy of free trade and doing away with tariffs. Many people in the United States feel that these policies will hurt the United States more than it will help it. Are you for against what they represent?

I am definitely opposed to GATT and NAFTA and you can add the WTO, the IMF and the World Bank.

All of these agencies and agreements infringe on our national sovereignty.  They tell the Congress which laws they are allowed to pass, and which they can't.  GATT and NAFTA have nothing to do with free trade.  Rather, they set up international agencies to control our trade with other nations.

NAFTA has been responsible for many good manufacturing jobs going overseas.  And now, illegal aliens are doing the service jobs cheaper than Americans.  We can thank our politicians for this.  They have sold their souls to the special interests - large corporations who use cheap foreign labor to make products that used to be made in American.

How many American made products do you see in Walmart?  Our politicians have made China into a world power.

You are mistaken that they promote a policy of free trade and doing away with tariffs.  Just because NAFTA has the words free trade agreement in it, does not mean that is what it is about.

Much the same as the former East Germany's name was German Democratic Republic.  There was not much "democratic" about the soviet satellite.
